Meesho Profit Calculator — Profit After Returns & GST

Most sellers price from the sale price and get surprised at settlement. The Meesho Profit Calculator works the other way: upload your payment sheet and see the number that actually lands in your bank account, after return rate, RTO, shipping deductions and GST.

What is the Meesho Profit Calculator?

The Meesho Profit Calculator reads your Meesho payment sheet and works out your real profit per order, per SKU and per date — after commission, shipping deductions, GST, and the hidden cost of returned and RTO orders. It answers the question your Meesho dashboard doesn't: after everything, what did you actually keep?

Why your Meesho sale price isn't your profit

Four factors quietly separate revenue from profit on every Meesho order. Miss any one of them and your "profitable" product can be losing money without you knowing it.

🔁

Return rate

Every product has a different return rate. A 20% return rate on one SKU quietly erases far more margin than a 5% rate on another — even if both sell at the same price.

📦

Damaged & RTO returns

A returned-to-origin (RTO) order still carries a shipping deduction on the way out, and often on the way back too. That cost has to be absorbed by every delivered order of that SKU, not ignored.

🚚

Shipping deductions

Meesho's shipping deduction depends on weight slab and volumetric weight, not a flat fee — and it varies order to order for the exact same product.

🧾

GST

GST applies on top of the shipping deduction and on your own tax liability as a seller — both belong inside the real cost of a delivered order, not left out of the math.

How to calculate real Meesho profit — accounting for returns and GST

  1. Start from the Final Settlement Amount in your payment sheet, not the sale price — that's the money Meesho actually paid you for that order.
  2. Subtract your true product cost — purchase price plus packaging, not just what you paid your supplier.
  3. Fold in your return rate. If a SKU returns at 15%, every delivered order of that SKU has to carry a share of the shipping deduction the returned orders cost you — spread it across delivered orders rather than ignoring it.
  4. Add GST on the shipping deduction and your own applicable seller-side tax — both ride on top of the base numbers above.
  5. Total it order-wise, then roll up by SKU and by date to see which products and which weeks are actually profitable.

Doing this by hand in Excel for hundreds of orders takes hours and breaks the moment your payment sheet format changes slightly. The calculator applies all five steps automatically from your uploaded sheet.

FAQ

What is the Meesho profit calculator?
The Meesho profit calculator is a tool that reads your Meesho payment sheet and works out your real profit per order — after commission, shipping deductions, GST, and the cost of returned/RTO orders — instead of the sale price Meesho shows in your listings.
How do I calculate my real profit on Meesho?
Start from the Final Settlement Amount in your payment sheet, not the sale price — that's what Meesho actually pays you. Subtract your product cost, then account for your SKU's return rate: a returned order still costs you a shipping deduction even though the item comes back. Add GST on top. The EcomFriendly Meesho Profit Calculator automates this from your uploaded payment sheet.
Why is my Meesho profit lower than I expected?
Almost always because return rate and RTO cost weren't built into the price. A product that looks profitable on the sale price can be a net loss once you include the shipping deduction on every returned order and the GST layered on top — which only shows up when you calculate profit from the payment sheet, not the listing price.
Does the calculator account for GST?
Yes. GST on the shipping deduction and applicable seller-side tax are included in the profit calculation, so the final number reflects money actually kept, not a pre-tax estimate.
What data do I need to use the Meesho profit calculator?
Just your Meesho payment sheet, downloaded from Payments → Payment Reports in the supplier panel. Upload it and the calculator works out order-wise, SKU-wise and date-wise profit automatically.
Is the Meesho profit calculator free?
Yes. Sign in with your EcomFriendly account and use it free — there's no separate charge for profit calculation.
