1. Who we are
EcomFriendly ("we", "our") provides tools for Indian ecommerce sellers — a website at ecomfriendly.com, free browser-based tools, and Chrome extensions for the Meesho supplier panel and the Flipkart seller portal. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. For any privacy question, email support@ecomfriendly.com.
2. Information you give us
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase). When you purchase a plan, payment is processed by Razorpay — we never see or store your card, UPI, or banking details; we only receive a payment confirmation and order reference.
We use your phone number to verify your account with a one-time code sent on WhatsApp, and to send you important service messages about your account. If you tick the optional consent box at sign-up, we may also send you offers, tips, and product updates on WhatsApp or email. This is entirely optional and separate from account verification — you can opt out at any time by emailing support@ecomfriendly.com. We do not share your phone number or email with third parties.
3. Information created by using our services
To operate the token/demo system, we keep a record of your token balance, plan, and a log of token usage (for example: "1 token used for an image action"). This log contains no product data, images, or listing content — only the action type and time.
For tools sold with a license key (such as the Flipkart Automation Tool), we keep a record of your license key, the tool it belongs to, its plan, and its expiry date so the extension can verify your purchase. License checks send only the key itself to our servers — never your listing content.
4. What stays on your device
Our free browser tools (such as the Meesho Label Cropper and P&L Analyzer) process your files entirely inside your browser. Uploaded PDFs, spreadsheets, images, customer names, addresses, and order data are never transmitted to our servers.
Our Chrome extensions work the same way: images are generated and listing forms are filled locally in your browser on supplier.meesho.com or seller.flipkart.com. The extensions contact our servers only to (a) log in to your EcomFriendly account and (b) verify your license key or check your token balance. Your product profiles, listing content, and images stay in your browser and are not sent to us.
5. What we do NOT do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not read or store your Meesho or Flipkart listing content. We do not collect your Meesho or Flipkart login credentials. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we never share your contact details with outside advertisers. Any marketing messages come only from EcomFriendly, and only if you opted in.
6. Cookies and sessions
We use cookies solely to keep you logged in to your EcomFriendly account. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your account data, license keys, and token history are kept while your account is active. To delete your account and its data, email support@ecomfriendly.com from your registered email and we will remove it within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
