This is a cash-settlement estimate for one delivered order. TCS and TDS may be available as tax credits and are not the same as Meesho fees. Returns, RTO, GST liability and adjustments can change final profit.

How to calculate Meesho profit margin

Start with the customer selling price, then subtract every seller-side deduction for that order: shipping and logistics, commission, TCS, TDS and any other adjustment. That gives an estimated cash settlement. Subtract the product and packaging cost to estimate profit.

Profit: Selling price − marketplace deductions − product cost

Profit margin: (Profit ÷ selling price) × 100

Example: at a ₹499 selling price, ₹220 product cost, ₹70 shipping deduction, 0% commission, 0.5% TCS and 0.1% TDS, estimated cash profit is ₹206.01 and margin is 41.3%. Replace the sample values with the amounts in your own payment sheet.

Meesho commission, shipping, TCS and TDS

Commission

Meesho currently advertises 0% seller commission. Keep the editable field at 0 unless your order records show another commission-style deduction.

Shipping

Shipping is not assumed to be free. Enter the actual seller-side shipping or logistics deduction shown for the order.

GST TCS

The calculator defaults to 0.5% for cash-settlement planning. TCS is collected on the applicable net value and can be available as a tax credit.

Income-tax TDS

The calculator defaults to 0.1% under Section 194-O. TDS can be available as a tax credit rather than being a marketplace fee.

Make your Meesho profit estimate more accurate

  1. Use the settlement or payment sheet for the actual shipping and order-level deductions.
  2. Include packaging, labels and handling in product cost—not only the supplier purchase price.
  3. Calculate returned and RTO orders separately because their logistics and settlement can differ.
  4. Review TCS and TDS as tax credits with your accountant instead of treating them as permanent fees.
  5. Compare the estimate with the final settlement and update your pricing assumptions regularly.

Meesho Profit Calculator FAQ

Is this Meesho profit calculator free?

Yes. The calculator is free, works without login and calculates results instantly in your browser.

How much commission does Meesho charge sellers?

Meesho currently advertises 0% commission for sellers. The commission field defaults to 0%, but it remains editable so you can model any order-specific marketplace deduction shown in your records.

Does Meesho charge sellers for shipping?

Meesho advertises low-cost shipping rather than zero shipping cost. The seller-side deduction can vary by shipment and order outcome, so use the shipping or logistics amount shown in your supplier panel or payment sheet.

How is Meesho profit margin calculated?

Estimated profit equals selling price minus commission, shipping, TCS, TDS, other deductions and product cost. Profit margin equals estimated profit divided by selling price, multiplied by 100.

Why does the calculator include TCS and TDS?

TCS and TDS can reduce the cash settlement received for an order, so they are included in the payout estimate. They may be available as tax credits and should not be treated as ordinary Meesho fees. Confirm the rates and tax treatment with your records or tax adviser.

Why can my actual Meesho profit be different?

This widget estimates one delivered order. Returns, RTO, weight adjustments, penalties, advertising, GST liability and later settlement adjustments can change actual profit. Use your payment sheet for the most accurate inputs.
