Example values loaded. Replace them with your product and current Supplier Panel amounts.

Product economics

Meesho commission: 0%
Purchase or landed cost for one unit.
Use the current amount shown in your panel or settlement.

Per-dispatch costs and target

Applied once to every dispatch
Add a known per-dispatch deduction; do not double-count ads.
Add customer returns and RTO

Customer return and RTO rates must total less than 100%. Use your own historical rates; the calculator does not assume a marketplace average.

Copy the current rate-card amount for your shipment.
Use 0% when returned inventory is fully recoverable.
Meesho publishes no additional RTO return-shipping fee. Add only another loss you can evidence.
Preview optional tax withholding

These editable rates create a simple cash preview only. TCS and TDS are not marketplace fees and do not reduce operating contribution in this calculator.

Operating contribution excludes tax withholding. The cash preview excludes product, packaging and ads because those are seller costs rather than assumed payment-sheet deductions. TCS and TDS are estimated as selling price × the entered rate; the actual taxable base may differ. Verify settlement lines before acting.

Transparent fee treatment

What each Meesho calculator input does

The model keeps marketplace costs, seller costs and tax withholding separate. It does not invent a universal shipping or return-fee slab.

Use current panel or settlement values wherever the amount can vary.

Formula and assumptions

How the expected contribution is calculated

Every dispatch ends as delivered, customer-returned or RTO. The calculator weights each outcome by the rate you enter.

Risk-adjusted contribution per dispatch

delivered rate × (selling price − product cost)
− all per-dispatch costs
− return rate × return loss
− RTO rate × extra RTO loss

Delivered rate is 100% minus customer-return rate minus RTO rate. Tax withholding is intentionally outside this operating formula.

What the model assumes

  • Product cost is recovered after a return or RTO except for the damaged share you enter.
  • Packaging, logistics, ads and other entered costs happen once per dispatch.
  • Return shipping uses your current Supplier Panel rate.
  • TCS and TDS are editable cash-withholding assumptions, not operating expenses.

Plain answers

Meesho profit calculator FAQ

Is this Meesho profit calculator free?

Yes. It is free, requires no login and calculates in your browser. Your entries are not uploaded by this calculator.

How much commission does Meesho charge sellers?

Meesho currently publishes 0% commission across categories. This calculator therefore keeps commission fixed at 0%. Check the current pricing page and your Supplier Panel before relying on any rate.

How does the calculator handle customer returns and RTO?

They are separate outcomes. A customer return can include the current return-shipping rate and an unrecoverable share of product cost. RTO has no additional return-shipping fee under Meesho’s published guidance, so the optional RTO-loss field is only for another loss you can evidence. Packaging, logistics, ads and other per-dispatch costs are applied to every dispatch.

What shipping amount should I enter?

Enter the shipping GST or logistics deduction shown in your current Supplier Panel or settlement records for the scenario you are planning. The tool does not hardcode a weight slab because charges and classifications can change.

Are TCS and TDS counted as Meesho fees?

No. The optional TCS and TDS assumptions appear only in the cash-settlement preview. They do not reduce operating contribution because they may be available as tax credits. Applicability, thresholds and tax bases vary, so verify them with your records or tax adviser.

What is the difference between this calculator and the P&L Analyzer?

Use this calculator before listing to model one dispatched order from manual assumptions. Use the Payment-Sheet P&L Analyzer after settlement to review actual orders, SKUs, returns and RTO from Meesho files.

Why can actual Meesho profit be different?

This is a planning model, not a payout or tax calculation. Actual settlements can include weight changes, program charges, ads, penalties, GST treatment, waivers and later adjustments. Reconcile estimates against the payment sheet.
